Happy December!
We are excited to share with you our latest new features, and a couple announcements:
1. Map is Here!
You can now visualize all your city's businesses on a map. Simply toggle on "map" on the top right of the business list screen. When you select a particular label or sublabel, only the businesses under that label will be displayed, so you can visualize how all your restaurants or dental offices, for example, are clustered.
2. Custom Data
Being data-driven is and will always be one of our main focus. To that end, we are rolling out a more flexible Contact Details Block as well as a Custom Data Block such that you can upload customized data for every business in your city. These are data that are important for analysis and insights, such as business size, age, opening date, geographic area, ownership characteristics, etc. We'll work closely with you and do as much of the heavy lifting as possible in setting this up. It is well worth the effort!
3. Task Due Dates and Reminders
Further boosting our task functionality is the addition of due dates and reminders, two important features to help you plan and manage your workflow. You'll see it at the same place where you create tasks.
Some quick announcements:
Bludot has closed a pre-seed round backed by investors including Govtech Fund and Alchemist Accelerator who believe in our mission to transform economic development. Bludot has also been accepted to StartX, the premier network of Stanford's entrepreneurs. We will be at the CALED 40th Annual Conference, if you'll be attending, make sure to stop by!
Lastly, to our cities that have trail blazed with us in our early journey, we are grateful to have you; and to the cities that will be onboarding, we can't wait to have you join us in 2020!
